About Edyta Krawczyńska

I am a psychotherapist working in the Gestalt approach and currently in the final year of a comprehensive psychotherapy training programme at the Gestalt Institute in Zabierzów, accredited by EAGT and EAT.

Alongside this, I am completing a BPS-accredited Psychology Conversion Master’s at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Since 2021, I have been supporting young people and adults within an approach informed by the 12 Steps. My professional path has also been shaped by my experience as a yoga teacher, which has deepened my attention to the body and the somatic dimension of emotional life.

Yoga has taught me mindfulness, creativity and openness to human diversity. This experience continues to inform the way I understand emotional life — not only through thoughts and feelings, but also through the body, sensations, posture, breath and embodied experience.

I also support people experiencing stress and burnout, drawing not only on my therapeutic training, but also on 12 years of experience in the business environment. This allows me to understand the pressures, demands and emotional costs that can arise in professional life, and to support clients in reconnecting with themselves amid overwhelm, exhaustion or a loss of direction.

I work with adults, young people, children aged 10 and above, and couples. I offer therapy in both Polish and English.

My additional training includes workshops and courses in mental health awareness, relational wounds, contact diagnosis through posture and gesture, intergenerational scripts in couples therapy, the child’s sense of self in Gestalt therapy, working in the field of trauma, sexuality in the therapy room, and the expressive body.

I work in accordance with the EAGT Code of Ethics, and my clinical work is under regular supervision.

Approach

In my therapeutic work, I primarily draw on Gestalt psychotherapy, while also integrating elements of Internal Family Systems and Somatic Experiencing.

I support clients in getting to know themselves more deeply through their body, emotions and relationships. I recognise that psychological difficulties are often expressed not only in thoughts and emotions, but also through bodily experience.

For me, meaningful therapy grows out of a relationship based on authenticity, safety and mutual respect. Within this relationship, I support clients in exploring unspoken patterns, unmet needs, personal boundaries and the deeper emotional meanings of their experience.

If you are looking for a therapist who can offer a supportive, safe and authentic therapeutic relationship, I invite you to get in touch. Together, we can explore your difficulties and look for a path towards greater balance, self-understanding and connection with yourself.
