Psychologist | Therapist
HCPC-registered psychologist and therapist supporting children, young people, adults and families with emotional, relational and developmental difficulties, using an integrative, humanistic and individually tailored approach.
I am a qualified psychologist and therapist, offering psychological support tailored to each person’s individual needs. My work combines a range of therapeutic approaches with broad clinical experience, helping clients understand, work through and resolve emotional, relational and developmental difficulties.
For over a decade, I have worked in helping professions across both the private and public sectors in Poland and the United Kingdom. Over the years, I have supported children, young people, adults and families, working with a wide range of emotional, relational and developmental challenges.
My professional experience includes work in family therapy and psychosomatic care, therapy centres, mental health services, sociotherapy and day support centres, children’s homes, infant care homes and private therapy practice.
My academic and professional training includes Master’s degrees in Psychology and Pedagogy, as well as postgraduate studies in Individual Therapy, Rehabilitation, and Human Development Support.
I have also completed specialist training in counselling, with a focus on person-centred therapy, Gestalt and Transactional Analysis, as well as further training in CBT and Solution-Focused Therapy. I continue to expand my practice through ongoing professional development, courses and specialist training.
I am registered with the HCPC as a Counselling Psychologist and Educational Psychologist, registration number PYL045332. I am also a member of the British Psychological Society, including the Division of Counselling Psychology, and I am actively involved in the Polish Psychologists’ Association.
My work is supported through regular clinical supervision.
At Yellow Scarf Therapy, I offer individual and family sessions. I support clients with a wide range of emotional, relational, developmental and identity-related concerns, always adapting the therapeutic process to the person or family in front of me.
I work in an integrative approach, adapting methods to the needs of the person or family. At the core of my work is a humanistic understanding of therapy, based on the belief that every person holds an inherent potential for growth, self-realisation and finding meaningful ways forward.
Humanistic therapy places strong emphasis on understanding each person’s subjective experience and on supporting them in moving towards a fuller, more grounded life. Every session is shaped around your needs, so that the therapeutic process can be both effective and personally meaningful.
My work is grounded in sensitivity, flexibility and respect for the complexity of each person’s story. Whether someone is struggling with emotional distress, relational conflict, identity questions or the lasting impact of earlier experiences, I aim to offer support that is thoughtful, attuned and responsive to their unique situation.
I also work with LGBTQ+ clients and aim to provide a respectful, affirming and psychologically safe space for exploration and change.
